Hi Jack

Same as the last bi-annual update im afraid:

Citaat:
Jack,

Nothing other than what i allready told you.

It will NOT be marketed for home use. Only pro/custom projects. And it will cost the same as a small car (yes i'm serious).

Not an off the shelve/retail/stock product.

We might make a spinoff for the home user, but this will not have active control loading. This simply isnt affordable (less than 10K) if you want to meet international safety standards. The forces involved with active control loading are tremendous.

Passive control loading yokes are not too high on the priority list though.

Stef

It has prooven impossible to market a professional grade control loaded yoke that meets all european safety demands for under 15.000 euro's.

As such we will not market a control loaded column for the home market.
Passive control loading yokes are still something i want to look at in the future, but still not high on the priority list.

Right now all priority goes to the MOOG Motion platform project:

My advice would be to get the yoke from www.737yoke.com. I have it, and it's a good piece of hardware that has a "reasonable" price. Not yet a 100% replica, but for sure the best one available at the moment

I think it's obvious by now that the yoke from FlyEngravity is never going to become available for the home user.

Thanks for the update. I'm now thinking about getting a column yoke from the folks at Precision Flight Control flypfc.com. Does anybody have any experience with this particular column yoke? Would it be similar to the ACE 737 flight yoke?

jack

Gremel:

Precision Flight Controls column is as reliable as ACE (a little late to answer this feed) and you can get the Saab otion besides the Boeing yoke. Column is square profiled but has responden very good either on FS9/FSX and other sim applications.

Greetings from Mexico City.
