AFDS module and FDS-SYS4X

Does this stuff sport FDS-SYS4X from flightdeck solutions?
Because i'm planning to buy them.

Hi ,

In fact, I do not know, but the catalog describes this feature as follows,

When wiring LED’s each 8 LED’s have a common cathode (negative) line which goes to
the black wire in the bundle. The 8 other red lines are the anode (positive) connections
for the LED’s. As mentioned earlier in the switch configuration section it is important to
only connect the cathodes for that connector to the black line in that connector. Each
of the connectors has it own common that gets connected to each of the eight
switches.

according to your quote above the fds board uses a common cathode.

This means the AFDS module should work with the fds board, however, this has not been tested by us.

does it work if you power the unit directly with 12 volts and power just one of the leds with a ground and a 5 volts line ?
(not using any software or interface board, but direct power from a power source to the afds unit (12 volts) and one of the inputs (anything between 3 and 12 volts, but try 3 or 5).

This way we can rule out any problems with your interface, wiring, or software.
If it still doesnt light we will have it returned.

Can you specify more detailed where you connect what ?

So, catode to what terminal, anode to what terminal ?

If you say i wired 8-16 i can not see if you did it wrong. Its not enough info !

Also i asked you to wire just one of the leds from an individual source (no sysboard, no software, just power to one led and to the 12 volt input of the module).
Did you do that ?

without its own 12 volts power line the afds module will not work correctly,

Hi dear sir,

Just for the test as you say i use dedicated 12v and connected as the 2 pictures i got these results

1- yes ok just for the SMD


2- No ok


The dual led pushbuttons for the A/p A/T FMC not worcking but the test toggle switch and all the pushbuttons even on board SMD leds are ok.

If you have a simple diagram just show it to me and i will follow you,and also you can use the numbers on the picture to demonstrate the connection diagram.
